Colonoscopy - Medical Animation

This 3D medical animation shows the placement of an endoscope in the large colon (bowel) during a colonoscopy procedure. During a colonoscopy, a biopsy is sometimes performed to distinguish between benign and cancerous tissue. If polyps are found during the colonoscopy, a polypectomy is generally preformed.
